Demystifying the differences in those people around us in order to build understanding, respect and improved communication is a building block for a quality organisation.  Building a workforce that is aligned with the organisation’s values and goals. Reducing conflict and improving listening.  Must do’s for a quality organisation.  When staff work effectively together it is much easier to find satisfactory solutions to some of the problems you face, frustrations are reduced, staff turnover is lower and consumers receive a higher standard of care.

Introducing our Key note speaker: Janine Gould who is the Director of Communicate Consultants.

Janine enjoys the challenge of working with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and is a dynamic and energetic facilitator.

“Her sessions are lively and effective and a highlight of senior management meetings”

Janine is accredited in the DiSC Behavioural Style Inventory and certified in the frameworks of the Conflict Resolution Network of Australia, where she is a member of a prominent Leadership Development team.

Janine also has a strong commitment to community affairs. She has been a President of Zonta Wellington and was a recent board member of Positively Wellington Tourism.

Janine will facilitate afternoon workshops to provide you with take home tools.

Dr Jaki Horn, a Registered Clinical Psychologist, will also share her extensive knowledge and expertise in a morning session and facilitate an interactive afternoon workshop.

Topics covered include – the characteristics of a successful team, making judgments (we all do!) what the research shows, self-assessment, the six C’s to build a team, the importance of good communication, managing our blocks to team communication, understanding the development of successful teams, forming, storming, norming and performing – where is your team at? Setting ground rules, managing difficult conversations, tips on feedback and delegation and using appreciation to encourage team performance.

A must for Quality Managers, Managers, Senior Staff and staff in leadership roles.
